MANILA, Philippines – Press Secretary Cerge Remonde denied earlier reports that President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (PGMA) had checked in at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa City to have her breast silicone implants removed and replaced. However, Remonde later changed his tune and admitted that PGMA had breast augmentation 20 years ago but he denied reports that the implants were leaking.
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has geared itself towards identifying who leaked the ‘boob job’ information but denied speculations that it was Malacañang who requested for this probe. NBI director Nestor Mantaring said it was the hospital’s management, itself, who requested for investigative assistance to determine possible administrative liability of its employees, if proven, that the leakage came from them.
The issue of PGMA’s ‘boob job’ as a matter of public interest, BREAKING or BROKEN?
